Janine Wolgamott received her Bachelor's in Special Education at the University of Oklahoma, and completed her Master's Degree in Learning Disability and Reading at Northern Arizona University. She has worked with the Special Needs population for 30 years.
Janine has worked in public and private edicational settings. The ability to create individual programs for her students is drawn from her experiences in pioneering resource and content mastering classrooms. Reconstructing existing programs in regular classrooms created a successful working environemnt for teachers and students alike.
Throughout her professional life, Janine has tutored privately in all grades from K-12th grade. She has worked with students in Jr. Colleges in English Literature classes as well as Math/Science who have special needs.
Janine is a certified Yoga Instructor for the classroom. She created a curriculum to enhance learning and focusing in the classroom through a relaxation / stretching program.
West Memorial Academy is Janine's change to custom taylor the entire school experience to the unique needs of each student.
Janine is fluent in Spanish and has taught ESL classes in schools here in Texas, Arizona, and Mexico City where she grew up. She conducted ARDŐs in public and private schools in English and Spanish for Spanish speaking families.
Faculty and Clinical Therapists are on campus on a regular basis depending on the student. Therapist is associated with different practices around the city. Each one is licensed thru the state of Texas and well qualified to address the needs of the student. A list is available upon request.
